At Hedgeway, we’re on a mission to unlock growth in emerging markets by removing one of the biggest barriers to foreign direct investment: currency risk.
For over a decade, our team has worked with private capital firms and institutional investors to manage FX exposure across both developed and emerging economies. Throughout this journey, one challenge has remained clear—local currency volatility continues to deter investment, not due to lack of opportunity, but due to the absence of accessible, effective hedging tools.
Emerging markets are often underserved. Traditional hedging solutions are credit-intensive and out of reach for many local entrepreneurs and investors. Local banks and providers frequently misunderstand their needs, and high margin requirements only deepen the gap.
Hedgeway was created to change that.
We’re building a platform that empowers investors and entrepreneurs with the tools they need to manage FX risk—partnering with global financial institutions that have the expertise but not the reach. Together, we’re bridging the gap between strategy and accessibility for the $600+ billion in annual FDI flowing into these economies.
